It consists of a main gas delivery bank and a reserve bank of cylinders. Ideal for applications not requiring un-interrupted gas service. When the primary cylinder bank is depleted, turn off the valve on the primary bank and open the valve on the reserve bank for continuous supply of gas.

The changeover of this system needs to be operated manually.

CENTRAL MEDICAL GAS PIPING INSTALLATIONS

In the olden days, when there were no central medical gases installations in hospitals, surgical staff used to bring in full cylinders inside operating theaters and carry on operations. This is not only dangerous for the staff and patients in theatre, it is inconvenient, cumbersome and slow.

From this point, specially cleaned and sterilized copper pipes are installed by skilled biomedical engineers to distribute gases to operating theatre, ICU, pediatric wards and all other places where gases are required. This method is safe for all, convenient, tidy and well organized.
